The Central Access Point (CAP) is a centralized intake system for families and individuals who are currently experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of becoming homeless. Begin your journey, from shelter, to hope and stability.
If you are currently homeless or experiencing a housing crisis, please call. Our Intake Specialists will gather information about your situation and help place you in a shelter or provide a referral to a partner agency for help.

Saturday and Sunday
9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Rent Assistance
When you don’t know where the money for your next rent payment is coming from, check with your local Salvation Army to see if funding is available for rent assistance. This type of funding ebb and flows, but if we can help, we will. Those seeking assistance should call 513-762-5660, to schedule an in-person visit with a trained staff member.
Rapid Re-Housing
Rapid re-housing provides short-term rental assistance and services. The goals are to help people obtain housing quickly, increase self- sufficiency, and stay housed. With long term care management designed to transition clients from emergency shelter to permanent housing. Those seeking housing assistance should call 513-762-5660, to schedule an in-person visit with a trained staff member.
The Salvation Army's Pathway of Hope is a nationwide initiative providing enhanced services to families with at least one child under the age of 18, in poverty, who design a plan around their individual goal. Pathway of Hope enables families to work towards breaking the cycle of crisis and intergenerational poverty. Pathway of Hope is a collaborative approach utilizing existing Salvation Army and community resources to provide strengths-based case management services over a 6 to 18-month period.
